EVP returns to its roots
                                                                              
                                                                                               
CHICAGO (June 1, 2009) EVP Tour, a Professional and amateur national beach volleyball tour announced today its 2009 Midwest regional series of events. The EVP Pro Am Tour brings together some of the best beach volleyball teams from around the country and the world. 
            The EVP Pro Am Beach Volleyball Tour now in its 19th season will be hosting more than 5 events at North Ave Beach in Chicago and 4 regional events in near by beach communities along Lake Michigan as well as hosting the National Championships in Racine Wisconsin.
 
The Midwest series of events will kick off this weekend.

  • June 20 North Ave Beach Chicago, IL
  • June 27 North Beach, Racine, WI (PRO EVENT)
  • July 4 Washington Park (Stop 1), Michigan City, IN
  • July 18 North Ave Beach Chicago, IL (PRO EVENT)
  • July 25 Grand Haven State Park, Grand Haven, MI
  • August 1 North Ave Beach, Chicago (Amateur Only)
  • August 9 North Ave Beach, Chicago (PRO EVENT)
  • September 12 North Beach, Racine, WI - National Championship (PRO EVENT)

“We are very excited about this year’s Chicago series of event, explained Craig Lenniger, EVP Tour Operations Director. “Along with our great tour stops across the country, we have added more events close to home in 2009. As we continue to grow in number of participants per event, we also want to suspend our national expansion until the sponsorship environment begins to improve. Our efforts to provide all volleyball players and fans with the best beach volleyball experience and “a great day at the beach” serves our purpose in the industry.
