Describe your time/experiences with the EVP Tour? Years? Accomplishments? Goals/Intentions?
Second year
The best accomplishment and a goal for the year is Winning in Chicago!
I am eager to help building an EVP island!!!
What attracted you to the EVP Tour? What is your most memorable moment on Tour?
I was introduced to the parties and great people on tour before I was introduced to the TOUR itself.
EVP tour is for competitive athletes who like to extend their volleyball experience beyond the volleyball court.
Winning at the National Chicago Even last year and Winning in Hawaii, and winning the EVP Island in Huston. I guess I just love winning
Detail your Volleyball -- post College. Where have you traveled to play? Wins? Favorite beaches to play on?
All the coolest places of EVP: Miami, Aspen, Hawaii, Hermosa, Huntington and of course CHICAGO, the favorite one to play at :)
Describe your transition between Indoor and Beach? When did you first play beach? Why?
I started beach when I was about 16. I played for Lithuania’s national junior beach team and that was how I got recruited to U of I, straight from the beach.
Volleyball Background:
Started indoors in 5th grade, playing for over 10 years, always loved beach more than indoor, couldn’t wait to get out on the sand after graduation.
Detail your College Experience – Academic/Social. (College major/degree? Study hound or Party animal?)
University of Illinois, Finance degree
I will let you guess on the second part of the question, the answer did not interfered with the great grades though :)
“Born and Raised”? (Where’d you grew up, and what that town was known for. Other sports? What one thing did you always do that got you in trouble in/outside of school)
Lithuania is known as a basketball country. Combine football and baseball here in sates and that is how basketball is popular back there.
What are your favorite Foods? Music? Movies/Books?
After long day at the beach, there is nothing better that Ice Cream!
Bon Jovi is definitely number one on my favorite artist list.
“Troy”, “Meet Joe Black”, and “Pretty Woman” would be at the top I think, not a big movie person.
Plans for Volleyball in 2007? Beyond?
I am going home to Lithuania after the season, it would be great to play some tournaments or back there or else in Europe.
There is so much more that is interesting about you – what didn’t we ask?
I am going Home this summer and taking my family on vacation in Europe!!!!
