As a coach I aim to help players realize their potential, to be an inspiration, to teach players that playing a team sport can prepare them for all aspects of life, and to guide them to make the right choices to accomplish their dreams. Both of my parents are big supporters and are excited about the Clearwater event. My three awesome sisters: Kristen, Kira, and Karla. All of my sisters played collegiate volleyball Kristen (University of Tampa), Kira (University of Mississippi), and Karla (University of Mississippi) and are big supporters of my playing on the beach. When did you first play beach? Why? My first beach tournament was with my older sister Kristen, she asked me to play with her and said we should play open. We got crushed and I thought I would never play again, but here I am and loving the sport. If she didn’t keep asking me to play, I’m not sure I would have continued. My parents started myself and all of my sisters in swimming at the youngest age we could start. We were all swimmers up until middle school. From middle school – high school we played (volleyball, basketball, and softball). I watched my older sister Kristen play volleyball for two years until I was old enough to play in 7th grade. She was the one who inspired me to compete and to play the game, we both started club at the same time, she was a Senior and I was a Sophomore.
